I'm not normally one to get excited about material things, but, this is a story worth telling.
Back when I was single, I had a beautiful tanzanite ring that my father had made for me.  I treasured it and wore it every day with pride. I was careful to always keep it clean and shiny and avoid wearing it when I was using any chemical that could damage it.
One day, when I was washing dishes, I mistakenly allowed it to go down the drain and I knew I'd never see it again. I later found the remnant of the ring inside my garbage disposal. It was scratched and mangled gold with no stone. It had been chewed beyond recognition.
Why am I telling you this story? I'm telling you because of the wonderful and amazing testimony of restoration. It has been nearly 20 years, but I haven't forgotten that beautiful ring. I often think of it, especially when I dress up for a function or wear something purple.
It was so so beautiful.
Well.... a few months ago, my Dad went back to Tanzania. While he was there, he remembered the ring that I once had and decided to buy me a new tanzanite stone! I'm amazed at how something so small was important enough for him to remember. He brought the new stone back to America and yesterday, my parents went to New York and had my tanzanite put into a beautiful white gold and diamond ring setting.
Lo and behold, my new ring!!!!! My new ring is 10 times more beautiful and more valuable than the previous one. Yes, it has been almost 2 decades, but, this is a strong reminder to me that I lose nothing! Everything that has been lost, stolen or destroyed in my life is coming back to me better than when I had it before, in Jesus Name! I pray this same prayer for you and I am confident that your restoration is on the way! When God restores, He does a perfect work! Don't think that time has made God forget you. He remembers you and will restore everything in due season. Joel 2:25,26.

My mom reminded me of a message that the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa spoke on at our Church back in Delaware titled "You lose nothing." I think it is very amazing that a word spoken some 19 years ago can still have such a profound effect on my life. I am blessed to have such Holy Spirit filled parents, both spiritual and natural.

Thank you, Daddy, mommy and of course, thank you Jesus! I love my new ring and I love the God who cares about the details of my life. I can't wait for it to get to me in Nigeria.
