My inner man is stirred up because I
believe that when you read this post, your life is going to change. Last night,
I joined over 50000 people on Instagram with Nathaniel Bassey as we gave
praises to God, prayed and worshiped. I've been hearing of the movement all
over social media. Most of the people I follow have been talking about the
testimonies and the awesomeness of a global corporate worship experience. It is
truly electric and life changing. I encourage you to join it tonight at midnight (Nigeria
time) on his Instagram or Facebook. If you can't join, find your own time to
separate yourself and just give your all to God in gratitude. Let me tell you
how it works.
You are
going to unlock the miracles that come with extreme gratitude. God has so much in store for you! Once
you unlock extreme gratitude, some really WOW things will break loose and break
forth in your life. When you express what you feel, it changes EVERYTHING!
Today, you have an appointment with God.
There are some moments in life when you just need to let the tears
of gratitude flow from your eyes, down your cheeks and to the floor. There are
moments when a loud screeching
shout of praise seems like a whisper compared to the passion of appreciation
that your heart feels. In fact, your heart feels like it is simply too
small to contain the enormity of your extreme gratitude.
There are gratitude moments when you wish you were a trained
acrobat because you feel like jumping to the sky and somersaulting for joy
across the crowed room. There are some gratitude moments when you realize
that you are NOTHING without God! There are gratitude moments when you have
forgotten yourself completely and all you feel is His presence and power!!!
Don't rush past these moments, stay in them and let them interrupt
your program and schedule because right in these moments lie your complete
restoration and healing.
It is in these moments of deep, sincere gratitude that the voice
of the Lord comes to you like raging waters. His wisdom and insight flows like
a waterfall, clearly directing your steps into His pathways, making the rough
places smooth and filtering the dirt and debris away.
His Grace! God's ever abounding, never failing, overwhelming Grace has
pardoned you from sin and from shame! He has cradled you in His arms and
covered you from the raging storm. He has nurtured you and given you milk to
suck during the times that you are painfully aware of the frailty of your
flesh; and meat to chew during times when you feel deeply hungry and desperate
for the sustenance that can only come by devouring His Word.
Extreme Gratitude usually doesn't come because of an incident or a
specific testimony. Extreme gratitude comes in the mist of some of the fiercest
of raging storms. It comes when we are being swept away by the torrents of life
and in the middle of it all, we have a keen sense that even in the fire, even
in the tornado of emotional and physical confusion He is right there. He is
there, He has always been there! He never left!!! That's the revelation that
makes you erupt in extreme gratitude.
Gratitude is more than a greeting card or a poetic expression. It is a
profoundly deep, heart-felt awareness that had it not been for the saving Grace
and the unending power of the almighty God, you would be absolutely nothing. He
kept you! He protected you! He healed you! He helped you escape that alluring
temptation! He covered your eyes so that you wouldn't see the thing that would
have been your downfall! He shielded you from the bullets of men's words which
were meant to pierce you and leave you maimed!
C'mon, admit it! Say it!
I wouldn't be alive today, if not for my awesome God! I wouldn't have a
song to sing if He hadn't carried my sorrows and nailed them to the cross. I
wouldn't have a beat to dance to if He hadn't taken my calloused heart of stone
and made it a heart of warm, mold-able flesh.
I wouldn't have a dime to give to someone in need if He hadn't provided for my
every need and even did so much that I consistently run out of room to receive
it.
Yes!!! We can write our own Psalms!!!! Reading David's accounts are
deeply inspirational, but are NOTHING compared to your own songs of extreme
gratitude and praise! We must compose new songs; write our own
deep-from-the-heart words of extreme Gratitude!!!
Be inspired by the power of the Holy Spirit! Get into that supernatural
realm of extreme gratitude and begin to let the words and melodies flow like
rivers from your heart.
The Holy Scriptures are just the beginning of the nature of God
manifested on this earth. You and I are living in the new chapters and we must
chronicle for the world the awesomeness of our God!
Extreme gratitude is
when over 50,000 people gather at midnight day after day to pray and worship
God!!!
Imagine how Paul and Silas must have felt in that prison cell as they
praised God. Imagine the power of extreme Gratitude that was flowing from their
hearts into the atmosphere, one shout, one word, one prayer, one line at a
time. Remember the story??? They worshiped until
the prison doors were opened and EVERYONE'S bands were loosed!!!
(Acts 16:25-26)
25. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang
praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
26. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the
foundations of the prison were shaken: and
immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.
Your worship and extreme gratitude isn't only going to set you free, it
is going to set all of the people around you free!!!! Hallelujah!!!! The doors
that have been shut to you are opening now in the name of Jesus! As your doors
open, your neighbors doors are also opening! God is no respecter of persons!
(Acts 10:34) Your extreme gratitude is the catalyst for your neighbor's
miracle!
Get up from where you are, look around you and you will see the
indescribable power of God's unfailing hand at work in the big, obvious things
and the small, seemingly inconsequential things.
Once you start pouring out your gratitude, you'll never run out of
reasons to be grateful and you will most certainly never be allured by the
carnal temptation of living a moment of your life devoid of His presence.
Pour out your extreme gratitude today and experience His nature revealed
in you!
This is your day to experience God like never before!!!!
Now I love the ending quote...inhale love, exhale gratitude. Amazing post, we are what we are because of who He is. Eternally Grateful
